Facilities expansion

Luis Carlos Motta becomes CEO
1994
Logistics Services Panamá is founded
1995
The subsidiary Logistics Services Panama is founded as a Freight Forwarder and agent of Fedex and Danzas.
Logistics Services Uruguay is founded
1995
The subsidiary Logistics Services Uruguay is founded.
J.Cain is certified ISO 9001
2000
J. Cain is certified ISO 9001, reconfirming a cultural change towards more structured procedures per each process carried out and standardizing these throughout the entire company
Servicios Logísticos Colombia is founded
2003
The subsidiary Servicios Logísticos Colombia is founded, with facilities in Cartagena and Bogota.
DHL Global Forwarding and J. Cain & Co.
2003
DHL and J. Cain become strategic partners. J. Cain becomes as exclusive agent for DHL Panama for warehousing and distribution in Free Trade Zones.
BASC Certification
2006
J.Cain is certified Business Alliance for Secure Commerce. An IATA sponsored certification guaranteeing the proper care and controls of cargo movements
J. Cain started operations at MIT Logistics Park
2008
J. Cain started operations at MIT Logistics Park. The first logistics area created outside the traditional Free Trade Zone, under the same benefits

J. Cain executive team creates the operational excellence business unit, covering Quality, Business Technology and a new Continuous Improvement department.
Implementation of Red Prairie & Creation of OPEX Unit

J. Cain launched its Operational Excellence Business Unit, covering QA, Business Tech and a new Continuous Improve-ment Department. Implementation of Red Praire, considered the best Warehouse Management System for 3PLs
J. Cain started operations in Panama Pacifico
2015
J. Cain started operations in Panamá Pacífico Special Economic Area becoming the first logistics provider to successfully offer operations in both the Atlantic and Pacific sectors in Panama
Authorized Economic Operator
2016
J. Cain becomes the first certified company in the Free Trade Zone, reassuring the controls and transparency required to expedite shipments through customs.
