Leading with Impact: Results of J. Cain Logistics’ 2024 Sustainability Report

At J. Cain Logistics, we understand that operational efficiency must go hand in hand with environmental responsibility.

Our 2024 Sustainability Report summarizes the joint efforts of our teams to build a cleaner, more efficient operation aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals.

Key sustainability achievements

Clean energy for sustainable operations

We generated 1,782,300.64 kWh through solar panels, representing 23% of our total energy consumption in 2024. This prevented the emission of more than 880 thousand kilograms of CO₂.

Responsible waste management

Through pyrolysis, we treated 47,736 kg of EPS material, avoiding landfill disposal and reducing 60,477.58 kg of CO₂.

Significant reduction in waste collection trips

We achieved an 86% reduction in these trips, thanks to improved recycling practices.

Reduction of carbon footprint

We achieved a 16.18% reduction compared to 2023, totaling 2,207.69 tons of CO₂ equivalent.

Material recycling

We reused over 150 tons of cardboard, plastic, white paper, and pallets made of various materials in our operations.

Training and professional development

More than 10,000 hours of training in strategic topics, with the active participation of 1,153 employees.

Corporate social responsibility

We carried out more than 8 activities with the support of 700 volunteers, dedicating over 520 hours to social and environmental initiatives.

Diversity and inclusion

Our workforce is composed of 53% men and 47% women, promoting a more inclusive and representative environment.
